How to study?

  • Conceptual Clarity – Conceptual clarity is most important. Read the theory of every chapter. Without knowing the theory, a student cannot solve any question. Know every concept from the chapter.
  • Practice – Practice each question. Answer writing is key in the exam. After reading the theory, students must go to solve problems. Practice as many questions as you can. In the exam, well-prepared students also find it difficult to write answers due to a lack of practice in answering questions. Be it an easy or hard level question but students need to practice writing skills of questions.
  • Questions from the textbook – Every chapter has exercise questions. Solve every question. Objective and subjective questions are important. The CBSE board exam asks many questions based on these exercise questions. If students cannot even solve exercise questions from the textbook, then it is difficult to solve board exam questions. Hence solve exercise questions first.
  • Cover syllabus early – Covering the syllabus is important. The CBSE board class 12th exams are generally held in February or March month. Students must have enough time to revise the syllabus plenty of times and have time to solve sample papers. Students must have covered their syllabus at least till October month.
  • Sample papers – Sample paper solving is a very important thing after studying the syllabus. Students get to see their preparation level and answer writing level in solving sample papers. After checking solved papers, analyze them. Check which chapter or concept is weaker and study that concept or chapter again. See whether the paper can be finished on time. It is important that with proper answer writing and presentation skills in the paper, the paper also must be finished at the right time. If the questions are left without attempt, strategize paper solving again. Try to improve writing speed. Most importantly with each sample paper try to rectify your mistakes
  • Revision – Revision is important for any subject. In accountancy, students must be well acquainted with all concepts. Without knowing the concepts, it is difficult to write answers. Hence, if students revise regularly then it will be easy to solve questions in the exam.
  • Stick to one book – If a student is referring to another book, then he/she mustn’t switch the resources constantly. Every book has almost the same content. Therefore, there is no point in switching through resources for extra content. Stick to one book and complete it. Take the valuable parts and add them to the answers. Before reading or referring to any other book, a thorough reading of the NCERT textbook is a must.

Conclusion
