Documents Requirement of Freelance License in Dubai
- First, you are filled application form of freelance license
- Copy of your business plan
- A copy of your passport
- Recommendation letter signed by current/previous employers
- Your résumé and original qualification certificates
- NOC signed the by the sponsor to transfer residence visa to freelance visa and to obtain a freelance permit
- Good-standing-certificate by the bank ensuring that you have a satisfactory banking history
- Portfolio of your work or any samples of work that prove you could freelance in the stated business activity
Procedure To Freelance Visa
- You are applying with the relevant free zone authority where you intend to hold a freelance license and/or a freelance visa Dubai.
- You can submit an application for interim approval along with the business plan, passport copy, and the reference letter
- The provisional approval is permitted, you will be received a customer confirmation letter from the respective free zone authority
- You can sign this confirmation letter and give it along with the other documents, mentioned above, for the final approval
- Make all the payments, such as the freelance permit fee, employee visa sponsorship fee, and first installment for rent or office space (could be optional), plus deposit (if applicable)
- Sign the free zone sponsorship agreement and collect the freelance permit along with the freelance visa
- On acquiring all the certifications and approval to start a freelance business in the UAE, you will be provided with a Flexi desk and business facilities within the free zone
- The license is issued within 7-10 working days.
