January is undoubtedly an ideal time to visit Mexico.The temperatures and humidity levels are surprisingly pleasant, and attract vacationers residing in the northern hemisphere who want to escape the brutal winters of their countries. Central Mexico is very dry and chilly in January, so it might be a good idea to stick to the east coast.The average temperature during January is 28 °C which drops down to 18 °C at night. You don’t have to pack a lot of winter clothes as the weather is bearable and really not too cold.


February is mostly dry and sunny in Mexico. You can enjoy up to nine hours of sunshine and comfortable day and night temperatures, which don’t exceed 31 °C, and don’t fall below 21 °C. There are also no rainy days expected at all, so you can plan tours without having to worry. The sea is also very warm and ideal for swimming and other water activities. March is regarded as one of the busiest months in Mexico, especially the area around Yucatan’s paradise shores. As the average daily temperatures and humidity levels remain pleasant, with the water temperatures being pretty cool, March is a good time to visit Mexico.


The average daily temperatures begin to slowly rise as the month of April comes by. Waters become warmer and more pleasant for swimming and diving. Even though the humidity also increases throughout the country, it is officially the driest month the Caribbean Coast gets to experience in the entire year, with only three rainy days. As for Mexico City, the weather remains delightful. The average temperature remains around 27 °C although it can alsodramaticallydrop to 10 °C.


The daily temperatures in May continue to rise, but not above 32°C, making it very pleasant to go out and enjoy the destinations and activities offered during this month.The month of May is also very dry, so your tours are unlikely to be interrupted by unexpected rainfalls. Riviera Maya is expected to have no more than five rainy days on average. The temperatures tend to be pleasant during the nights with an average of 22 °C in a majority of the areas. June marks the official start of the summer season in Mexico. As the month goes by, the humidity levels increase significantly and so do the chances of rainfalls and hurricanes. However, June is definitely not the peak season for hurricanes or storms to occur, so there is not much to worry about. The Maximum temperatures climb up to 33 °C, making it slightly uncomfortable with the high humidity. But then again, this month marks the start of the sharkwatching season, with designated shark watching hours and tours and excellent diving opportunities.


July might not be the best time to visit the country as the humidity levels increase to uncomfortable, stifling 97% and maximum temperatures around 33°C. The number of sunny hours also falls to five a day, as the days remain mostly cloudy and rainy. However, if you are still planning to visit Mexico during this month, swimming in the sea might be a good way to refresh yourself. Mexico City, Cancun and Tulum are good options to explore in July.


Pretty much like July, August is also really warm and humid. The temperatures rise as the month progresses, along with the humidity. The expected hours of sunshine remain at mere five a day, with increasing chances of rain. It is regarded as the warmest month of the year. The humidity makes it even more difficult to enjoy vacations in August. Moreover, there is a high probability of dangerous storms. Cancun is an ideal place to visit in October where you can experience average temperature of 31 °C with a lot of sunshine. However, the temperature may drop to 21 °C during the night. November in Mexico is marked with excellent weather; dry, cool and less humid climates, with sunshine hours climbing up to delightful eight hours per day. Even though this time of the year is considerably free of rain, one might expect one day of rain. But that is soon followed by plenty of beautiful sunshine.
